Due to considerable investment in ISS projects and the Drop of ISS shares due to the wars.
Combined with the inability to sell ISS shares in the last month due to the ISSO IPO
EMFI is looking at being unable to pay dividends for several months if you guys keep killing ISS.
Thanks for your cooperation.

well tbh, I don't really care.. my biggest shareholders are hitting ISS and they are the ones hurt.. AATP is doing really well though :)
The ISSO IPO really hurt as well since I couldn't pull out when I wanted to becuase everyone was buying ISSO shares.
But if this is what the public wants.. Then it is what they get..
I predict EMFI shares crashing.. I will buy them up at bottom values till I have NAV back over 10k I guess... and then we can continue to play ball..
Cheers!

if ALL ISS outposts tank, it will take 20months of no dividends for EMFI to recover.. I can probably reduce this by half becuase people will cash out (which means I will buy back EMFI at bottom prices with the isk I have) if only ISSCA dies (unlikely) and doesn't reimburse anything, or get taken back it will take 2-3 months of no dividends to recover.
At the end of the day, this is what people are doing, many shareholders are attacking ISS, I assume EMFI or ISS shareholders.
Bleagh...
Such bad timing of ISSO.. otherwise I could have gotten out ;)

In response to a request by evemail current EMFI assets
~2.5bil isk ISSCA452 OMARA186 NCIB9955 AATP1682852 FIN450000 ISSBO476 ZERO.2250000 ISSMO670 LYO287500 TRAH340 OT-TS30582 PCT1022 TCCS986452 H-TE555 ISSPO403 ESINV20 SHMEC3000 T2AHL142 C-R-A144000 BMBE409
Depending on valuation of ISS woth anywhere between 65 and 102bil

Originally by: Fedjakeen Hmmmm, i wonder why you have to run these "no profit" months ? i mean, why don't you just keep paying dividends from what you've still got ? It will be less ,but it will still be dividends.
Because of the business model of EMFI, we pay dividends of the value of the corp over 100bil.
if the value drops to 90bil for example.. it will take a few months to reach 100bil again.
Another option would be to "revaluate" EMFI to 5k/share and pay profit over the ammount over 5k/share (for example)
Anything like this would require a major vote (and more clarity what really is happening with the ISS shares, because the values are all over the place)
I think it is safe to say that for at least a few months EMFI will be below 100bil, even if AATP picks up in a major way.

Thanks for your cooperation ?
-- coooperation in taking out everything with ISS on it.
and what choice do we have in the matter ?
-- not shooting them or not supporting them that do.
Granted I am not a MAJOR stock holder in EMFI but to hear your forcast of up to 20 months, how are we to know you will EVERR pay dividends again ?
-- you don't
We didn't invest in 1 stock.. but if the whole eve is going to gank every public corp they can.. a mutual fund won't make much profit now would it?

Originally by: Trotski II As a owner of between 250M of EMFI shares at IPO prices i demand that EMFI manager stops wasting time with Makisso and just concentrate on the long term recovery of shares.
I also humbly request that kublai doesnŠt brag about the amazing psychic politic geostratetic percepcion (+69 without implants) that she owns on this thread.
I also would like to say that i directly lost some isk with the current gangbang on ISS and i am happy with it. Nice to lose money on an IPO without being scammed.
I may have to comply or agree with all your points...

Sigh, you really haven't read my posts have you? The Tanking of the EMFI shares *IS* the plan of recovery. Everything is said here, the duration depends on what happens in the war and how the investors handle their investment (hold on or sell). I can't magically conjure non-existant isk. And I need all the ISK I have for buying back EMFI stock (instead of paying dividends).
You keep shouting for the plan to recover.. it is already here, just read it again.

Ok, even though publishing the plan will hurt the chance of the plan succeeding I will buckle under the stress becuase frankly I don't give a crap.
A = NAV After ISS sitation is Resolved (ie: 70b) B = IPO Value of EMFI (ie: 100b) a = NAV/Share (ie: 7k) b = IPO/Share (ie: 10k) c = Tanked EMFI value (ie: 3k isk) D = Current EMFI Wallet (ie: 2b isk) E = Dividend income from current investments (ie: 2b isk) F = ammount of EMFI shares in EMFI Wallet n = number of months to recover Right.
We can pay dividends again if
Divies = F+E+(E/c*n)+A-B
So..
It depends on: 1) How much will EMFI be affected, what happens to the war 2) How much will other shares give in dividends 3) How much will people panic and dump EMFI shares for
if 1) All ISS is worthless 2) Other EMFI portfolio goes down in dividends 3) Noone will sell any EMFI shares for under their value
it will take up to 20months
if 1) ISS takes a small hit because of the war 2) Other EMFI investments increase in value 3) people start dumping their EMFI shares for 1000 isk/share
it will take 1week to 8weeks to recover.
There you go.

Actually if everyone waits it out it won't be ok.. we need some people to panic and whine and stuff and dump. Some people need to take the hit I am afraid..
Meh... They will panic after a few months of no divvies.

EMFI has over 15 funds.. only 1 of which (due to the EIB liquidation) 20% the rest around 5-6% tops...
5 IPO's tanking at once doesn't help so much if you diversify, though still limit loss to a mere 35%
